Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig on September 21 1982. She is an American actress best known for her role as Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV show Lost. Her parents had divorced and she relocated with her mother into Los Angeles. The actress landed her first part as Rachel's Room's lead character in 2001, despite having a difficult time with finances. She went on to earn a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002, for her role as 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder in Greenwich. Grace Rutherford, a character in Lost from 2004 to 2005 was nominated for an Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace was a co-star with Tom Welling on The Fog in 2005, wanted to move to film. The role she played was Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken 2008) as Suburban Girl as well as the Jane Austen Book Club.
